Before the session
Once you get in touch, we’ll chat about what you’re thinking, where you want to shoot, what you’re wearing and the general vibe. Have a Pinterest board and a very specific vision? Love it. Have absolutely no idea what you want? Also fine. We’ll figure it out together. I’ll help with locations, timing and direction so you can turn up, relax and let me do my thing.

During the session
We’ll meet at our location, have a quick chat about what we’re doing, and then get into it. Bring the outfit changes, inspo, props or random ideas. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I’m not going to pose you within an inch of your life. We’ll move around, try things, have a chat and let the session unfold naturally if needed. If you feel awkward in front of the camera, don’t worry that’s literally my job to fix. About 90% of people are in the same boat. If you are bringing kids, bring bribes and a positive attitude. I will sort em.

After the session
Once your session is done, I’ll get to work on your gallery. Every image is individually selected and professionally edited by me, with 70+ images included. My average gallery usually lands around 100–140 images, depending on your session. Your full gallery will be delivered within 4–6 weeks. This can vary a little during my busier seasons, but I’ll always keep you updated if there’s a delay. FYI portrait sessions don’t come with sneak peeks, those are reserved for my wedding clients because I know you’ll want the full gallery once it’s ready.
FAQ
How do I book you?
Easy. Fill out the enquiry form and tell me what you’re after. I’ll get back to you with availability and we’ll go from there. Once you’re happy to lock it in, your 20% retainer secures your date and the rest can be sorted from there. No complicated process. Just a form, a chat and a date in the diary.
When should I book a maternity session?
Most people book their maternity session around 30-35 weeks, when your bump is lovely and round but you’re hopefully still feeling somewhat human. Every pregnancy is different though, so there’s no magic week you have to wait for. If you’re feeling good and want those photos, that’s the right time for you. I recommend booking a months ahead, especially if you have a specific date, location or weekend in mind.
What if we need to reschedule?
Life happens. Kids get sick, weather does whatever the hell it wants, and sometimes the day just doesn’t cooperate. If we need to reschedule because of bad weather, illness or something genuinely unavoidable, we’ll find another date that works. For outdoor sessions, I’ll always keep an eye on the forecast and make the call with you, I’m not dragging you outside in sideways rain just for a photo. If you need to reschedule, just give me as much notice as you can and we’ll work out another date. Basically: sh*t happens. We’ll sort it.
How do I recieve my photos?
Your finished gallery will be delivered online via email, so you can view, download and share your images from wherever you are. You’ll receive a private gallery link with your fully edited images, ready to download in high resolution and print for yourself.
