I’m basically a Monster Energy drink with a camera.

I’m a 6ft-tall, lanky ex-emo kid who decided somewhere along the way that being weird was significantly more fun than trying to hide it. I wear too much black, have an unhealthy relationship with eyeliner, spend stupid amounts of money on tattoos and photo props, and will absolutely judge you if you don’t like The Office. I’m also a mum to Sylvie, wife, crazy cat lady and completely obsessed with my whippet Freya. Outside of photography, I make acrylic art, drink an unreasonable amount of coffee, eat Mexican food like it’s its own food group and occasionally remember I’m supposed to be an adult.

I’m five years into The Storm and Me and now doing this full-time. The business started because of Sylvie — my little Storm — and somehow grew into this weird, wonderful thing that lets me make art for a living while meeting some f*cking incredible people.

When I photograph you, I’m not interested in making you look like someone else. I watch. I notice how you move, how you interact, what makes you laugh, when you’re uncomfortable and all the little things that make you you. I’m pretty observant, and that’s probably my biggest strength as a photographer. Give me your personality and a little trust, and I’ll turn it into photographs that actually feel like you.
